Mark your calendars—Saturday, June 7th, the Depot will be wide open as part of Taste of Laradise! This community celebration brings local flavors and fun to downtown, and we’re thrilled to be in the mix again this year. Stop by for a tour, check out our exhibits, and grab some of that new Depot merch while you're at it.
A Night to Remember at the Depot 🎩✨
We’re still buzzing from the incredible 1920s Gala that lit up the Depot on Saturday, April 26th! From flapper dresses to fedoras, the evening was packed with charm, laughter, and community spirit. We owe a huge thank-you to the Leadership Laramie Class of 2025—they were a dream to work with and played a key role in making the night such a success. Not only did they bring their energy and ideas, but they also helped raise funds for a project near and dear to our hearts: the repainting of our historic caboose. We can’t wait to give it the fresh, eye-catching look it deserves!
Gift Shop & Museum Now Open Twice a Week 🛍️
Got a free morning? Come by the Depot’s museum and gift shop—we’re now open Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 AM to 2 PM! Whether you’re hunting for a unique gift or just want to browse a little local charm, we’ve got you covered. Our shop is fully volunteer-run by our board members, and it’s stocked with new merchandise including Depot t-shirts, embroidered hats, and stainless steel travel mugs. Every purchase supports our mission to preserve and celebrate this incredible building—so come say hello, do a little shopping, and soak up the history.
Celebrating 100 Years of the Depot 🎉
This year marks a huge milestone—our 100th birthday! That’s a full century of history, railroads, community, and connection right here in the heart of Laramie. We’ve got some major fundraising efforts planned to honor this legacy, and we’re excited to announce we’ll be part of WyoGives on July 10th for the very first time. Stay tuned—we’ve got some amazing stories to share and opportunities for you to be part of the next 100 years.
